2010 Triathlon Training Sessions

 

Now is the time to register and get ready to play hard in the company of other women with a shared goal. 

 

Put your fears aside and let Flower Power Sports guide you to the finish line!

 

Beginner Twelve Week Session:

March 16th - June 5th

 

In this session, we'll be training for another all women's event - this time the Mermaid Tri on June 6th. Participants can choose between training plans for an Olympic or Sprint distance race.

 

When: Tues/Thurs 6:30 – 7:30pm; Saturday 8:30- 10:00am.

 

What: Workouts will consist of a swim workout, a run, and a bike ride each week. The program will also include clinics on things like bike maintenance, wetsuit fitting, open water swimming, stretching/ injury prevention, race day strategy and more.

 

Where: Workouts will be held at various outdoor locations in Marin.

 

Fees:

$325 through Feb 15th (early registration)

$355 after Feb 15th

Performance Based Triathlon Training Program:

March 23rd - June 12th

 

In this session, we'll be training for another all women's event - this time the Silicon Valley International Triathlon, June 13th.

 

When: Tues/Thurs 6:30-7:30pm; Saturday 8:30-10:00am.

 

What: This training program takes it up a notch for those with a few triathlons under their belts, looking to improve their times or perhaps compete in their age group. The program will include a weekly detailed training plan, twice monthly phone sessions with the coach, heart rate zone based workouts, and more advanced skills clinics.

 

Where: Workouts will be held at various outdoor locations in Marin.

 

Fees:

$375 through Feb 21st

$399 after Feb 21st
